Hailey Cancels Bowe Is Back Celebration

Bowe Bergdahl's home town is putting the brakes on the celebration planned for Saturday, June 28th.

The "Bowe Is Back" celebration was originally the small town of 8,000's annual "Bring Bowe Back" rally and was re-branded following the release of Bergdahl last Saturday.  After receiving over 100 emails a day from various parts of the country, the City of Hailey has concerns that they don't have enough room to accommodate the number of people, both supporters and protesters,  expected to show up.  They want the public to know that the event wasn't canceled because of negative attention toward Bowe, but simply in the interest of public safety because of Hailey's infrastructure.
