Have a Brew with Sue: Adult Night at Discovery Center of Idaho

I've always wanted to go to one of the Discovery Center and this Friday, I finally am! I'm going to have a beer with a dinosaur!

So I didn't realize this when I introduced you to Sue the T-Rex and my childhood obsession with dinosaurs last week...but this is a reunion of sorts for me and the Discovery Center's featured exhibit!  I totally forgot that Sue's original fossils are housed at the Field Museum in Chicago. I saw the largest T-Rex in the world during an orchestra trip in Chicago my sophomore year of high school!

Are you an adult who is STILL obsessed with dinosaurs?  Then check out Adult Night at the Discovery Center this Friday, January 27th from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. They're hosting a special viewing of the Sue exhibit for adults 21+.  In addition to the normal "A T. Rex Named Sue" exhibit, they're also bringing in fossil collector Steve Brittenham and Gonstead Spine & Well.  They'll be doing demonstrations on spinal and skeletal health themed around Sue.

Boise Fry Company is customizing a menu of dinosaur themed snacks.  Powderhaus will be there pouring beer and wine too.  Drinks and beverages are available for purchase.

Tickets are $18 in advance through the Discovery Center or $20 at the door.
