Here’s Why the Boise Airport Parking Garage was on Lockdown on Wednesday

Everything is under control now, but for a minute there, things were looking pretty scary.

KBOI reports that a suspicious package was discovered inside the Boise Airport's long-term parking garage yesterday, resulting in a lockdown. The object was discovered Wednesday afternoon, and the Boise Police Bomb Squad was on the scene shortly after to investigate.

Thankfully, everything ended peacefully. The bomb squad located the package on the east side of the garage, and it turns out it was empty.

During the investigation, airlines ran as usual and operations were not hindered.
