We recently discovered that Idaho is one of the healthiest states in the country.

So how does the Treasure Valley rank in comparison with the rest of the Gem State?

Compared with the rest of the U.S., Idaho is pretty darn healthy. Thanks to the thousands of outdoor options here, we're in tiptop shape. Now when we break it down, what area in Idaho is on top of their health game the most?

According to CountyHealthRankings.org, Ada County ranked third in the state for overall health and wellness. We rank really low on smokers, obesity rates, inactivity, and excessive drinking (I can't claim that last one).

The only counties that outperformed the Treasure Valley were Valley County and Blaine County.

We're not one to point fingers, but Shoshone County and Benewah County were at the bottom of the list in Idaho.
