How Long Will Boise Stay Frozen?

This is the most snow and ice the Treasure Valley has seen in years.

How much longer is it going to be like this?

More snowfall is expected Saturday, which will just be adding to the piles of snow and ice accumulating on streets all over the Treasure Valley. Even worse, said ice isn't going to even begin to thaw until Sunday.

Sunday will be the first time we break freezing temperatures this week, reaching a high of 40°. While that may not be enough to completely eradicate all the snow and ice, it's a start. Hopefully by Monday, with a high of 41°, we should start to see bare streets again.
