The secret about the Treasure Valley is out and our area is now one of the fastest growing places in America! But just how much has Boise changed in the past 10 years? The now and then photos are pretty drastic!

My August wedding is quickly approaching and as I'm chatting with my sister about where to book her AirBnB for the week, it hit me that it's been eight years since she's been to Boise.  She and my mom came to visit a few months after I moved here.  Between Physician's Assistant school and landing her dream job at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, she hasn't been able to make it back here since then! Nothing in this city looks the same as it did during her first visit.

During that visit, the Zion's Bank Building was still affectionately called "the Boise Hole,"   Jump and the Simplot HQ were just a dusty parking lot and the Valley Ride busses didn't have an underground hub because the Clearwater building didn't exist.  And the Village at Meridian? Well, it was still a field at that point. Living in the Treasure Valley, you forget how much those projects changed what the city looked like because we watched the construction go up slowly.  These incredible "Now and Then" photos really show how crazy the changes over the past 10 years have been!
