Trying to get more clicks on that YouTube video you've been working so hard on?

Here's how to spice it up for free, without any software.

A lot of YouTubers will use Photoshop to put together the perfect attention-getting thumbnail, but what about the rest of us? Maybe you can't afford the software. Maybe you have no idea what all 10,000 buttons do. Maybe you're like me and you're just cheap and lazy. Then Pixlr is for you.

Pixlr is an online photo editing website where you can achieve Photoshop-worthy results for absolutely free. The best part is, you don't have to download anything. Just go to the website and start editing! In the video above I outline how I'll normally go about putting together a better thumbnail for my YouTube videos. Keep in mind, there's an endless array of ways to compose what you think is the best image for your video, this is just how I typically tackle it.

Happy editing!
