I just said on the radio, "Did you hear about the science teacher that fed a puppy to a snapping turtle?" It immediately sounded like a setup for a quirky joke. The only problem is it isn't a joke.

It's true that a teacher fed a puppy to a snapping turtle in front of his students. I feel like I'm repeating myself and oh yeah, I am. A teacher fed a puppy. Like, how is this even possible by the way?

Robert Crosland at Preston Junior High reportedly fed a puppy to a snapping turtle in CLASS! This is where it gets extremely fuzzy and confusing to me. The only real information I'm getting is that it happened after class and he fed this puppy to his reptiles and amphibians. What???

Preston is about 5 hours from Boise and is not local but close enough right? I'm still trying to find out whether the puppy was alive and still processing why? The Idaho teacher's students were sticking up for the teacher and said things like,

Very much the circle of life - parents

The local superintendent Marc Gee said,

a regrettable circumstance involving some of the biological specimens.

I'm still trying to find out how this is okay and there hasn't really been much else reported. I'm sure we'll find out more including some type of suspension. I don't care what the circumstances do you feed your sick, or deformed puppy, or dying dog to anything? Is that circle of life? This isn't Lion King! I'm not even sure if that's a good example 🐢

I remember watching my friend feed his mouse to a snake and I'm still traumatized for that. Call me what you want but - come on man!
