If you didn't get a chance to attend a Stampede game this season, you've missed your chance to see the future stars of the NBA play in Boise.

According to KTVB, the NBA D-League team will move closer to it's NBA affiliate, the Utah Jazz.  Beginning next season the team will play in Salt Lake City as the Salt Lake City Stars.

Moving the team gives the Jazz a better relationship with the D-Leauge where their management, coaches and support staff can be more hands on with player development.

The Stampede began playing in the Treasure Valley at the Idaho Center in Nampa in 1997.  They moved to CenturyLink Arena in Boise in 2005.
