Idaho Students Sign With Colleges, Universities

Above is a video from my Alma Mater, Bishop Kelly here in Boise from THEIR big signing-day event this week. However events like these were held ALL OVER the Treasure Valley as National Signing Day was just four days ago on February 6th, 2019!

A fun fact about me...I was a college athlete. For about a month. Prior to my last minute decision to attend Gonzaga University (literally just days before school began), I was committed to running Track & Field at the College of Idaho. The school was great, the coaches were actually AMAZING, but something in my said I needed to get out of town and experience something totally foreign.

Schools all over the state celebrated their hard-working student athletes that committed to a number of colleges and universities alongside their friends and families!

Every year, Idaho's News Channel 7 does an awesome job of mapping out which students are going to which schools to play which sports-- it's a lot to organize and their interactive map is awesome. You can see that, HERE.

.I suppose I'm a little bit biased towards the four students going on to my Alma Mater, Gonzaga University-- so a quick shout out to Lauren Elwer (of BK, too!), Brittney Hansen (Meridian High School), Gabe Hughes (Rocky Mountain High School), Kelsey Oyler (Rocky Mountain High School) for all committing to be Zags!
