Idaho's Most Iconic Food Has Been Named...and it's NOT Potatoes

Seriously, it's not potatoes.

We can't believe it either, but it actually isn't potatoes. Promise.

Flavored Nation are basing their findings out of St. Louis, of all places. They're there for a food festival there, with foods being featured from all over the United States. Representing Idaho is Chef Lou Aaron from Westside Drive In. So, what food did they deem most wanted from the Gem State?

Finger steaks.

Those delicious, deep-fried strips of cow meat. Mmmm.

Before you put together a "WHY NOT POTATOES" lynch mob, you may want to hold off on questioning Chef Lou. He's been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, and we know Guy Fieri ain't nothin' to mess with.
