Last year, Eagle was home to the Gem State's wealthiest zip code.

That isn't the case this year.

Experts at GoBankingRates put together their rankings by analyzing median home value information from Zillow.com, and the results for Idaho are in.

You'd probably guess Eagle, or Coeur d'Alene, right? You would be wrong. The wealthiest zip code in Idaho belongs to 83455, which is Victor, Idaho. Where? That would be five hours east of Boise, just a few miles from the Wyoming border.

If you haven't heard of Victor, you're not alone. Only 1,938 people live there. In this case, size doesn't matter. The average home value in Victor is $350,000. That's the average value. Why so expensive? Victor is part of the Jackson Hole area, boasting access to tons of outdoor activities, and a stunning view of the Teton mountains.

While Victor has the highest price tag in Idaho, it can't even hold a candle to North America's most costly neighborhood. That would be Atherton, California, where the average home cost is $6,100,000. That's 6.1 million. You read that right.
