It's official! The International House of Pancakes has changed their name. The 60-year-old franchise has been teasing the change for a week and just renamed the popular pancake establishment with another popular food.

Say hello to hamburgers! IHOP will now be IHOB! That means burgers, burgers, and more burgers! I would say I'm very upset but I'm a burger kind of guy. This might just grab some more of my business considering I'm not always in for pancakes.

What kind of burgers? Themed burgers? How many different kinds of burgers? These are just things we have to talk about

International House of Burgers will serve EVERY steakburger with a drink and unlimited fries. This is similar to Red Robin's bottomless fries. What kind of burgers though?

  • The Classic
  • The Classic with Bacon
  • Mega Monster
  • Big Brunch
  • Cowboy BBQ
  • Jalepeño Kick
  • Mushroom & Swiss
  • Patty Melt

This seems like a very soft launch considering everything on their website still reads IHOP. That's either a mistake or they're just not abandoning the name entirely. That feels odd coming from a branding standpoint but we'll see what happens. I'm hoping they add more burgers because you might be able to find that number of burgers on any menu. Let's see what happens, but they do look good!

IHOB isn't letting go of breakfast because that is the staple of the 60-year-old franchise. Looks like the focus is just transitioning to burgers.

You can see a full menu HERE. Say goodbye to these commercials.
