About two years ago, our office here at 103.5 KISS FM took on a fitness challenge at Kvell Fitness and Nutrition in downtown Boise. At the time I had just moved back to Boise, I was fresh out of working and going to college full-time, and I had nothing to show for healthy or consistent habits. For me, and several of my colleagues, Kvell offered an intense and wholesome workout that could easily become routine. Fast forward about two years and several of us still make Kvell a part of our lifestyles.

Since starting at Kvell, I've felt stronger, healthier, and simply more confident in myself. I'll be the first to admit however, and perhaps you can relate, that being healthy ALL of the time can be tough. I work a long day-- about 9:00 a.m. until about 11:00 p.m. Monday through Friday consists of me working in the office or in our community. Healthy cooking, lots of sleep--those simple health steps--can often times be so difficult to stick with. I can only imagine how much tougher that can be for someone with kids and a family!

I'm posting about this because I'm forcing myself to be held accountable, by you! Kvell is offering a 6-week challenge and I've paid my dues and signed up. It's time to try and build some healthier habits.

I'll be posting up each week with how things are going-- that way if I'm slipping up, you can call me out.  Step one? Get some sleep tonight and have a healthy breakfast in the morning.

Have you participated in something like this before? Maybe you challenged yourself. What pointers do you have for me to be successful? Here. Goes. Nothing.
