If there's one thing that my friends know about me, it's how much I hate having too much attention on me. Socially, I love being in the background and observing. When it comes to my birthday, I absolutely despise everything about that. I hate gifts, cards, and all of that stuff. I appreciate my friends that care about me--but I need absolutely nothing and all of that makes me so uncomfortable. Every year, all I enjoy doing is spending time with those closest to me. This weekend, however, happened to be my day of birth. I was really lucky to get all that I wanted-- an evening with some of my closest friends that I care most about-- my mom even crashed brunch at Amano in downtown Caldwell, and I didn't have one single worry in the world. I'm lucky to have such cool people in my life.

While downtown Caldwell, I noticed the the plaza at which we were apart of for so many fun events over the past year looked TOTALLY different. The ice ribbon had been installed!

If you've never been downtown Caldwell for Christmas, you've got to make a trip out to see the lights and enjoy the vibe. They have done such a great job. Now, with the ice ribbon opened up, you've got even MORE of a reason to take your date, kids, or whole family out there!

The Ice Ribbon is open Monday-Thursday from noon until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from noon until 10:00 p.m.

Masks, social distancing, and sanitizing is all in place and encouraged.
