Is This the Best Place to Live in Idaho?

You'd be hard pressed to find bad living in The Gem State.

So let's break it down...which city has it best?

OnlyInYourState put together a list of the top ten best cities in which to reside in Idaho. It's not a scientific list by any means,  but it's hard to disagree with their rankings. Pocatello makes the list, along with Idaho Falls, Grangeville, and some other smaller cities throughout Idaho.

So what city did they rank as the best in the entire state?

That would be Meridian.

Why did Meridian top the list over all other cities? Low crime rate, high employment rate, and educational options put Meridian at the top of the mountain. While the cost of living in Meridian isn't quite as affordable as other areas in the Treasure Valley, it's hard to argue with what you get for your money there. The only con listed for Meridian is that it has a very strong city feel, with little nature to enjoy like in most parts of Idaho.
