It Takes a Village: Cycle to Break the Cycle Sunday [Gallery 2]

Cycle to Break the Cycle is over, the mobile studio is being taken down, and the bicycles are getting dissembled. We're back at the radio station doing our show and on to Spring Break-Out in Las Vegas with Lady Gaga. Life goes on.

The worst part of this final moment is that abuse doesn't stop. People continue to live in fear and calling for help isn't as easy as you might think. Abuse happens over time and it's not physical. Bruises heal, but the mental scars are what really hurt.

Take a moment and use this event as a teaching moment or conversation starter. Teach your kids that it shouldn't hurt to be a child and run them through steps on what to do if they find themselves in a serious situation. Create a life drill for your kids and at least they'll know what to do if something ever goes wrong.
