It’s National Plasma Awareness Week!

Donating Plasma isn't something that everyone thinks about daily.  In fact, I've never donated (I have a weird thing about needles) BUT ever since I met someone that worked at a local plasma donation center, I never realized how popular the practice actually is.

This week is International Plasma Week, which purpose is three-fold: to raise awareness about plasma collection, to recognize plasma donors, and to increase the understanding of why donating is important and needed.
