It’s Time to Recycle Your Leaves This Week

The leaves are taking over 🍁 I'm not sure If I'm just noticing it more this year or it's an epidemic! Where is Summer?!?! I'm kidding. I love Fall and it's pretty gorgeous outside. I saw these kids on Saturday that looked extremely less than satisfied as they bagged several garbage bags filled with leaves. It was like watching an everlasting stream of orange falling from the sky. Now what?

Leaf Recycling runs from November 6th - 25th and you have a few choices.

• Curb Side Collection
  • Leaves and small garden plants only.
  • Collected in paper leaf bags or compost if participating in the Boise city compost program.
  • Leaves bagged and placed curbside by 7 a.m. on service day.
• Ada County
  • 11/6 - 11/25
• Boise
  • Weekly, year-round in compost cart or large paper leaf bags.
• Eagle
  • 11/6 - 12/1
• Garden City
  • 11/20 - 11/25
• Meridian
  • 11/6 - 11/25
