Katy Perry's showing unconditional love for a fallen KatyCat who was killed Saturday (March 25) in a devastating car crash.

Eighteen-year-old Katie Bell, an avowed fan of Perry's, died in a head-on collision in Bossier Parish, Louisiana, according to local station KTBS. She and 68-year-old Roger Erickson died after Bell lost control of her car and crossed over the median.

Perry's fan community has since been in mourning, and very early today (March 28), Perry, herself, paid tribute to Bell by changing her handle to "#ripkatycatKatie" and issuing a mini-eulogy alongside one of Bell's more popular Twitter videos.

"We see you angel and we love and will miss you. KC's, light a candle for Katie. Rest In Peace," Perry wrote to similar grief from fans.

"I'm sure this means the world to her family! i love you," one follower tweeted while another noted "She was very lighthearted, Ms. Katie. Thank you for tweeting this, I know she really really appreciates this."

Bell's Twitter account remains littered with shout-outs to Perry — her homepage is even KatyPerry.com. "i'm watching old katy performances and crying," she wrote in February.
