It's back for the fourth year and I couldn't be more excited: Boise's own Latino Festival! One thing about the Treasure Valley is that there is no shortage of Latino culture and influence, which is both great and advantageous for our area.

Having grown up in a Latin household myself--the food, the memories, and those weird "mexican-ism's" that I've grown to realize aren't normal for most households, have all made me who I am.  I appreciate living in an area where our culture is loved and the pride is ample.

That said, you certainly don't need to be of Latino descent to join in on the festivities downtown Boise September 1st! Put on by the Consulate of Mexico in Boise and the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, this event is open to everyone that wants to get down to some awesome live music of dive into some AUTHENTIC and delicious Mexican food.

Aside from music and food, there will be activities for kids and even dancing classes!
