Recently the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints held their 188th Semiannual Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Here are a few changes that church leaders directed to the faithful.President Russell M. Nelson told the conference that the name of Christ should be used in the name of the church.  The Deseret News quoted the church leader saying this about the name Mormon.

“Thus, the name of the Church is not negotiable. When the Savior clearly states what the name of His Church should be, and even precedes His declaration with, 'Thus shall my church be called,’ He is serious. And if we allow nicknames to be used and adopt or even sponsor those nicknames ourselves, He is offended.”

In other church news, Sunday service will now be two hours from the current three hours.  KIFI News reports that the first hour will be focused on the savior.  The second hour will consist of classes.
