April is Child Abuse Awareness Month. Coming off the heels of Live for 175 it's important to remember that Child Abuse happens every day all year. The last thing I want is for people to clean their hands of pushing the message just because the event is over. For example, as soon as Live for 175 ended and we were packing up, a child who heard what we were doing stopped by and asked where she could get some help. Luckily, there was some staff still on-site that gave her and her mother the information she so desperately needed. Here's a resource guide to some local and national organizations that help the victims of Child Abuse.
