Lucky’s Honeymoon Ideas
I find myself writing a lot about being married. It's not intentional. It's just new and exciting. Even though Lacey and I have been together for over five years, there is something different about actually being married. The experiences, the challenges and everything in between.
Leading up to the wedding was stressful, we were in the process of moving from Portland, taking on a new job, and the actual organizing and planning. Once the ceremony had ended, and friends and family had returned home, I started working right away. There was zero downtime.
We always talked about going on a honeymoon but didn't have the time. And now we're kind of at the point where we are forcing ourselves to take some time off and go. Here are some ideas we looked at that may help if you are looking for some inspiration.
Beautiful beaches, exotic animals, and Bangkok. Thailand has a little bit of everything for anybody. And your dollar can stretch far as well. Maybe you'll find yourself standing were Jo Jo was standing in her season of the Bachelorette.
There's no better way to see the Caribbean than on a cruise. Packages are usually all-inclusive when means you don't have to worry about food. You can travel to cool islands or relax poolside on the boat.
Las Vegas isn't just clubbing and casinos. Take your honeymoon in Vegas and relax in one of their many spas or catch a show.
It may be a little tricky getting there, but there's nothing more romantic than learning about ancient love at the pyramids of Giza.
So which destination did Lacey and I choose? Check back in a week or two and find out!
