March 7th Is National Pancake Day; Score Free Pancakes on Tuesday

If it's free it's for me! Especially when it involves free pancakes!  Enjoy a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes on Tuesday at any Treasure Valley IHOP location.

Once a year IHOP offers the free hotcakes to their customers for a good cause.  The restaurant is offering each guest one free short stack of their signature buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. (with select locations extending the party till 10 p.m.)  They've been doing free pancake day since 2006 in order to raise money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

In exchange for your full belly of free, fluffy flapjack deliciousness, IHOP asks that you consider leaving a small donation for the cause when you leave.  This year they hope to raise $3.5 million.  Your donation will help Treasure Valley kids!  St. Luke's Children's Hospital is a partner in the Children's Miracle Network.

Speaking of Children's Miracle Network hospitals and St. Luke's, they just received a massive donation from the students at Boise State University.  Dance Marathon raised $150,000 for the kids during their fundraiser last weekend.
