The war of words between President Donald Trump and hoops patriarch Lavar Ball has been swirling all over social media and mainstream news this entire week. For those uninitiated, POTUS is upset that the polarizing basketball poppa didn't thank the prez for helping to get Lavar's son, UCLA star LiAngelo Ball, back to the U.S. after the younger ball was busted for shoplifting in China.

Following an appearance on CNN where Lavar basically said "F--- Donald Trump," everyone has chimed in with commentary—including Snoop Dogg. Trump attacked Ball via Twitter, because this is what happens now.

"It wasn’t the White House, it wasn’t the State Department, it wasn’t father LaVar’s so-called people on the ground in China that got his son out of a long term prison sentence - IT WAS ME. Too bad! LaVar is just a poor man’s version of Don King, but without the hair. Just think," Trump tweeted. "LaVar, you could have spent the next 5 to 10 years during Thanksgiving with your son in China, but no NBA contract to support you. But remember LaVar, shoplifting is NOT a little thing. It’s a really big deal, especially in China. Ungrateful fool!"

Hip-hop mogul Master P was asked about the situation by TMZ, and here's what the founder of No Limit Records had to say.

“Man, I just think it’s a blessing to have your kids back at home, man,” Master P said. “You gotta just be humble.”

As a famous dad, P offered more advice to Lavar.

“I’d just say, ‘Man, just be thankful that your kids is safe [and] they not in prison and do the right thing, man,’” Master P said. “He had something to do with your kid getting home so, right is right [and] wrong is wrong. If that man had a big thing of getting his son back home, then that’s what it should be. Get respect where it’s at. To me, I put God first so I think that if somebody helped you, then you be appreciative for it. That’s it.”
