Mateo's Three For The Weekend

Cheers to the freakin' weekend, I drink to that-- yeah yeah!

For real though, anyone else feel like this has been the longest week ever!? With today feeling like a rainy day in Seattle, Fall has yet to really feel THIS present in the Treasure Valley I think. That said, here are my three events that I'm telling you--you CAN'T miss this weekend!

Harry Potter In Concert
The Morrison Center
It's happening TWICE on Saturday and you can't miss out. If you were every a Harry Potter nut like I was growing up or maybe just a late bloomer to Harry like Chris Cruise, watching the first movie with a live orchestra is a must. Tickets are still available in pairs for the early showing happening at 1:30 p.m.

LipsInc: Brides of Frankenstein
The Balcony Club
One of the first drag shows I ever went to was a LipsInc performance and the popular Boise group is preforming Saturday night at The Balcony. Grab a drink and check out a great show. Minerva Jayne will be the special guest star!

Boise State vs. San Diego State
The Tailgate Sports Bar and Grill
This is my favorite place to catch any sporting event for two reasons-- tons of TV's and great food. I recommend the tacos with some mango habanero sauce! Kickoff is at 8:30 p.m. Saturday evening .
