Finally, the weekend! Here's a fun Mateo fact: I've never never taken a vacation. Even growing up, "vacations" weren't really a thing for my family.  This weekend, I'm OUT! It feels unbelievable to know I'm getting out of town for a break to visit some great friends and get my mind off of things. SO, while I'm out this weekend, the events here in Boise still go on! You won't see me at any for a few days, but you should definitely check out these events below!

    67th Annual Ski Swap

    Expo Idaho

Can you believe it's the 67th Annual!? I can't because I haven't even been alive for half of those years.  If you're looking for some used ski gear or you've got some that you need to sell, this is your event. It goes all weekend long, Friday-Sunday!

    2017 Veterans Day Parade

    Idaho State Capitol Building

This is a great chance for you to honor and support Idaho's Veterans in the Boise Veterans Day Parade.  Because it's a drill weekend at the Idaho National Guard, there will be more military presence in the parade! The opening ceremony opens Saturday at 9:15 a.m. at the Capitol building. The parade begins at 9:45 a.m. Of course, this is a free event.

    Harlem Globetrotters

    Century Link Arena

As a huge basketball fan, I'm making an exception and extending the term "weekend" through Monday-- because this goes down Monday at 6:00 p.m.

The entertainment is sure to keep fans of all ages on the edges of their seats-- I love some good basketball tricks!
