We're back to the weekend and now that our sister station LITE-FM is playing Christmas music on the overhead speakers in our building, I'm writing this feeling super behind on gift shopping.  Thankfully, there's still plenty of time to shop, SO you should check out these three events happening right here in the Treasure Valley this weekend.

    Millers Mission

Walmart Superstore, Franklin Blvd. in Nampa

I wrote about Miller's Mission yesterday, but if you didn't catch that, you can learn all about it HERE.

Drop by, donate cash, a check, or a turkey from inside the Walmart and help the Boise Rescue Mission help families in need. This is a great way to help our community with Thanksgiving just days away now.

    Night Tour the Old Pen

    Old Idaho State Penitentiary

They say ghosts are twice as active in the cold...

Ok, I lied. But you never know. TONIGHT you can get in on a night tour of the (haunted) Old Pen and if I didn't have to talk on the radio tonight, I'd totally be one of the first in line.

Self-guided tours (don't get lost) start at $8 a tickets and for $10 a ticket, you'll get a guided tour.
