McCall No Alcohol Policy Starts July 1st

The Idaho Department of Parks and Rec is reminding anyone heading to McCall of the new alcohol policies on North Beach.

According to Jennifer Okerlund, Communications Manager for the department, no alcohol will be permitted in the North Beach area of Ponderosa State Park from July 1st - 5th.

They're also changing the parking near North Beach.  You'll only be allowed to park in designated areas along Eastside Road and Warren Wagon Road. If you park outside of the designated areas, you could be towed or cited. They've expanded the Eastside Beach parking lot at North Beach as well.  They'll still cap North Beach at 500 people on the eastside beach and 250 people on the west side boat ramp.
