Meridian Police Set Up Safe Zone For Online Purchases

The Meridian PD is joining us for "First Responders" day this afternoon at Live for 175.  I love this new program that they've set up!

I'll admit it.  I browse Craiglist for furniture often, but even when I see something I think I can't live without I don't purchase it.  I'm just too scared to go meet a total stranger that I found online but the Meridian PD is making me feel safer about buying online!

According to KTVB, the Meridian PD will now allow people buying or selling a good online to make the exchange in from of their station at 1301 Watertower Steet.  The new exchange location has 24-hour surveillance and helps people avoid having to make the exchanges at someone's home.
