Michaels Recalls Salt Lamps

I saw dozens of my friends posting their new Himalayan Salt Lamps on Facebook after Christmas.  If you were one of the people who received one, you may want to check the model you've got plugged in at your home. 

According to KTVB, Michaels is recalling three different types Himalayan Salt Lamps: the Rock of Gibraltar Lamp, Carnival of Lights and Basket of Rocks. The lamps could cause shocks or a fire because of a faulty dimmer switch.

Those who bought the recalled lamps at Michaels are eligible for a refund and just can simply take it back to any Michaels location to get theirs.

There are three Michaels locations in the Treasure Valley: 8633 Franklin Rd in Boise, 2310 N Eagle Rd in Meridian, and 16474 N Marketplace Blvd in Nampa.
