Miss Idaho 2016 Crowned

You can now refer to Miss Tri Counties Kylee Solberg as Miss Idaho.

She was crowned Saturday night at the Nampa Civic Center.

Solberg was first runner-up for the crown last year, and makes her hometown of Coeur d'Alene proud by emerging victorious in 2016.

Kylee's currently attending Boise State University pursuing a degree in communications, and plans to use her newfound platform to bring attention to online bullying. Her "Our Words Have Power" initiative empowers young people to look beyond insults and put downs, and realize that their lives are just as important and worthwhile as everybody else.

Look out for Kylee competing in the Miss America pageant in September in Atlantic City.
