Mrs. Idaho America Visits Live For 175

We were so happy to see these beautiful ladies this morning!  Each of them took the #notinourhouse pledge and told us a little bit about their platforms/what they're working toward in the community!

Charity Majors - Mrs. Idaho

As Mrs. Idaho, Charity's platform supports Stand Beautiful, a program to speak to young girls and women about what beauty really is and that it starts inside them.  She's traveled to local businesses, schools, girl scout troops to spread the Stand Beautiful's mission.  She'll also host a panel during the upcoming Women Ignite Conference this May.

Katie Denning - Mrs. Canyon County

Katie's platform is Domestic Violence Awareness.  As a survivor herself, she sees the need for an increase in services and safe housing for victims in the Treasure Valley.  She works with many organizations in the community, including Advocates Against Family Violence, working to bring domestic violence to an end.

Shawna Walz - Mrs. Tri-Counties

In addition to being Mrs. Tri-Counties, Shawna is also the Executive Director and President of the Idaho Diaper Bank.  1 in 3 Idaho families struggle to afford diapers for their children and they can't be purchased with stamps or WIC.  So Shawna and her team is working to help low income families get the diapers they need for their children.

Stacy Pittman - Mrs. Payette County

Stacy's platform is a clever play on the county she represents.  Her campaign is #payetteforward.
