My End of the School Year Tradition for My Son
With less than two weeks left of school, I bring the classic Dr. Seuss "Oh, the Places You'll Go" and send it to school with my son. There's only one rule: Don't look inside.
I saw this idea on Pinterest years ago and thought it was such a sweet idea. You can start this any time in your little's life. I just happened to see the idea during my son's kindergarten year.
Every year I have a hard time thinking of that year ending and another one beginning. I even ask my insanely sarcastic son to stop growing. His response is usually, "Mom, that's weird," or "I can't make it stop." Bless his heart.
Send the book to school with your child and have them give the book to their teacher. I usually include a note with instructions for the teacher. It's pretty self-explanatory after the first teacher writes their note.
Do you have any traditions with your kids for the last day/week of school?
