Now that football is back, every Sunday I like to spend a couple hours in front of the TV yelling like any other average American. There's nothing like finding the perfect spot to watch a game that not only has a nice atmosphere, but serves delicious food and drinks. I also prefer a location that won't judge me too much when I jump up and down when my team is killing it. Recently, I've really enjoyed Big Al's at the Village in Meridian to watch football. If you've never been... you are 100% missing out! The TV screens are MASSIVE. Probably some of the biggest and best screens for watching football in the Treasure Valley. The restaurant area is huge as well, and just about everyone there on a Sunday has the same thing in mind as you- cheering on your favorite team. Also, when you walk in there's a large mural of the Blue Turf and it just makes me feel at home. Another reason we've been going to Big Al's is so that if my 3 year old gets tired of hanging out, there's plenty of things to occupy her time while the game finishes. The arcade upstairs is a sprawling game area filled with entertainment for any age. If you are looking for a fun hangout spot, especially if you are a sports fan, I HIGHLY recommend checking out Big Al's!
