One of the coolest things my dad ever took me to when I was growing up in Nampa was the Warhawk Air Museum. As a kid, I had a total fascination with planes. Actually, I still do even now--if I'm on a flight and I don't have a window seat, I am one GRUMPY Mateo!

Seeing so many historic planes, and at the time, an awesome air show, has always stuck with me. With Veterans Day being tomorrow, I didn't even think about how cool of a visit this could be for you, your kids, or your whole family.

Some of the planes that are on display at Warhawk Air Museum date all the way back to World War I and not only are there "artifacts" if you will, but there are countless stories of our country's history that are sure to leave you speechless.

Warhawk Air Museum will be open tomorrow (10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.), and through the weekend (Sunday, 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.)

Tickets in are only $12 for adults, $5 for children, and only $10 for veterans and/or seniors.
