If you were planning to trick-or-treat in downtown Nampa, the event has been expanded! According to the City of Nampa, many store fronts are under construction right now or vacant making the annual trick-or-treat event a little untimely.

Small businesses as well as non-profit or community organizations are now encourage to set up and join in a "trunk-or-treat" type fashion on October 27th. That's a Friday evening.

If you or someone you know is involved with a Nampa business or organization interested in getting involved, the city is encouraging you to reach out and secure one of the approximately 45 spaces available in Lloyd Square. You can reach out by emailing: Contact@downtownnampa.com.

If you're hoping to take your friends, family, or children to the event to participate, you can simply plan to pass through Lloyd Square in downtown Nampa during the daytime on Friday, October 27th. Live music and Children's activities will also be going on.

There will be a kick-off party earlier in the day at the Nampa Public Library.
