Not only did Nampa lead Boise on this list, it landed in the top spot in the country!

Our friends at Wallethub compiled their "Best Run Cities In The Country" list, and Nampa is the cream of the crop. So, what does that mean?

The list measures each city's "Quality of Services" and "Budget Per Capita." They determined what cities are running efficiently, making a good use of their budget, and are making services readily available to their citizens the best. Overall, Nampa ranked #1 in "Total Budget Per Capita" and #20 in "Quality Of Service." Boise ranked #3 and #6, respectively. Other cities that surprisingly ranked on on the list were Provo, UT, Billings, MT, and Fort Wayne, IN.

Major cities performed the worst, including Detroit, Washington D.C., and New York City at the very bottom of the list.

The only two places Boise scored low numbers is was the "Education" category, which means the average citizen's highest completed level of education. The other? "Infrastructure and Pollution."
