Nampa Police Promoting ‘9PM Routine’

The Nampa Police Department has been using social media to promote their '9PM Routine', something everyone should know about wherever you live.

So what IS the 9PM Routine? It may seem like common sense, but I've caught myself being awful about this. The reminder and purpose is simple...lock your doors and keep your valuables out of sight at 9:00 p.m. each night. I can't tell you how many times I've woken up in the morning having realized my front door wasn't locked. I love how safe our city is, but it's always important to keep your doors locked and your valuables out of sight.

This could be an easy responsibility to teach your kids (if you have them)-- each night at 9:00 p.m. lock your doors! It's an important habit to form.
