One of my favorite field trips as a kid growing up was when we would go out to Wissel Farms in Nampa. The trip always consisted of a hayride around the pumpkin patch and the opportunity to pick and take home your very own pumpkin. I never carved mine because I was a weird kid that found more satisfaction in finding the "perfect" pumpkin.

You can partake in the hayrides that were always so fun to me as a kid, too. The best part? It's free!  It doesn't matter how many kids or friends you want to bring along, Wissel Farms is proud to offer free hayrides to families looking for THEIR perfect pumpkins this Halloween.

Wissel Farms is a locally owned and family operated farm that has been in the Treasure Valley for over 100 years.  A staple of my childhood and of many local produce shoppers, Wissel farms' goal is to bring you the best of natural, fresh, local, veggies!
