New Albertsons on Broadway Soon to Open

If you live anywhere near Broadway Avenue in Boise (here's to those like me and several thousand Boise State Students, too) you're about to get a new place to shop.

In theory, the new Albertsons isn't a "new place" to shop--it's all too familiar for most in the area. However, when the old store was torn down to make room for the new structure, many have been forced to go elsewhere to get their groceries.

This new store, as you can tell from just the outside, is going to be much larger and far fancier. It's a two-story location that will feature a second story view of Boise State's campus and the city skyline, a Starbucks, and even a lounging area.

As I was driving to work this morning, I passed Albertsons headquarters and they have a huge banner out front bearing the big news: a grand opening on Saturday, July 21st!
