A technical school on the ballots in Eastern Idaho has been overwhelmingly approved by voters for a transfer into a community college.

Residents in Bonnevile County voted yesterday and more than 70 percent of those who voted, approved.

The institution as it is now, Eastern Idaho Technical College will now transform into The College of Eastern Idaho.  According to news outlets, classes could begin being offered as early as August. This would be the fifth community college in the State of Idaho.
