NFL Suspends Domestically Abusive Player For 2 Games

The NFL is coming under fire for the way they are handling Ray Rice's punishment for a domestic abuse incident early this year.  Many think their solution was simply a slap on the wrist.

In February the Baltimore Ravens running back and his fiance were involved in a domestic violence incident in an Atlantic City casino elevator.  TMZ obtained video footage of Rice pulling his her from the elevator and it appears she had been beaten unconscious.  He was eventually indicted on third-degree assault charges and will have to attend counseling.  Those were Rice's punishments from the courts.

The NFL has cracked down on drugs, DUIs and hazing...but simply gave Rice a two game suspension for this incident.  Needless to say, the general feedback has been that the NFL turned their heads the other way and wasn't stern enough with Rice. What do you think?
