Nicki Minaj rapped and entertained at the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards in Glasgow, Scotland on Sunday (Nov. 9). In addition, the Queen Barbz also won a trophy for Best Hip-Hop Artist.

Minaj was the perfect hostess for the MTV EMAs, which was celebrating its 20th anniversary. According to the Associated Press, the rapper displayed confidence onstage and even joked with the crowd by rapping about whiskey and singing a snippet of '500 Miles' by the Scottish band The Proclaimers.

"I've been learning so much about your beautiful country and culture...I've pretty much become Scottish," Minaj told the audience.

Later on, Minaj's wowed the crowd with a three-song medley of 'Super Bass,' 'Anaconda' and a new song called 'Bed of Lies.' The latter song featured Skylar Grey on piano and a single verse from Minaj. The Young Money starlet rapped about a failed relationship that was so destructive that it made her start popping pills.

Other performances of the night include Ariana Grande who performed 'Problems' sans Iggy Azalea and 'Break Free' from her album, 'My Everything.' In addition, the 21-year-old singer nabbed two awards: one for Best Song ('Problem') and Best Female.

A very pregnant Alicia Keys also hit the stage performing her global aid anthem 'We Are Here.' The R&B piano diva dazzled in a white, full-length dress and she was rocking a faux hawk.
