Olympic Skater and Champion Nathan Chen Skates in Sun Valley

This might be the closest you get to a U.S. Olympic star if you haven't been fortunate enough to meet Idaho's own, Kristen Armstrong. Sun Valley is hosting their Summer on Ice and you're invited this weekend.

Nathan Chen brings his unbelievable and historic six quads abilities to the ice in Sun Valley this weekend.

I grew up watching the Olympics and out of all the sports, I'm always drawn into gymnastics and ice skating. My little sister was a national champion on roller skates and was so good. I tried ice skating a few times and how they stay up on one blade is beside me, but jumping, spinning on a sheet of ice - always mesmerizing to me. This weekend you can witness it under the stars.

Sun Valley is Idaho's most well-known resort town and is hosting Sun Valley on Ice. This is an outdoor show every Saturday night during the Summer with ice skating's biggest names. You can see the U.S. world champion ice skater, Nathan Chen this Saturday. This guy was a champ at 10 years old and is kind of a local boy native to Salt Lake City. We all witnessed his record-breaking performance during the Winter Olympics PyeongChang this year. If you're a fan this is a perfect weekend to head out to Sun Valley.
