I teamed up with Paint Nite Boise for an incredible evening to help raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! Take a look at these works of art from our talented artists!

For the past 8 weeks, I've been part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's "Woman Of The Year" campaign. It's a 10-week campaign where candidates try to raise as much money as possible for the LLS. Every $1 we raise is a vote for us and $1 to end blood cancers for good! I accepted my nomination in honor of my friend George who was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in January after his eye doctor found bleeding on his retina during a regular exam.  Shortly after I accepted my nomination, I found out Leia, a friend of 103.5 KISS FM's was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma.  She's a 7th grade volleyball player at Lake Hazel and loves Paris, so we chose to do this painting in her honor!

Special thanks to Amy and Lene at Paint Nite Boise for helping organize this fundraiser!  Also props to loyal KISS listeners Angela, Susan, Gelel, Linda and Cena, the Boise Area Runners, Team Run Boise and Team In Training alumni for rounding up your friends to paint with us!

Our artists did a great job and helped kick cancer's butt!

You Can Still Help!

I have two more weeks to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! If you weren't able to make it to Paint Nite but would still like to donate to the cause, click the button below.  Every $1 makes a huge difference and I appreciate your "votes!" Some of the medications my friend is taking were discovered through research grants from the LLS so helping them further mission means a lot to me!
