Payette Brewing Company has been pouring one of my favorite beers since they opened in 2010, but soon you won't be able to order an ice cold Outlaw IPA in the Treasure Valley!

The brewery recently got served a cease and desist letter from Illinois based Two Brothers Brewing who claims they own the trademark for the name Outlaw IPA.

Idaho's largest brewer will rename their flagship beer by the end of the year.  At this point, they don't have a new name finalized but "Outlawyered IPA" and "Outlawed IPA" have been suggested as a funny play on the cease and desist letter.

Well, this certainly changes the cans you'll find in my tailgating cooler this Broncos season! If you enjoy Outlaw IPA, what do you think the new name should be?
