I've caught myself in this situation one too many times on Thanksgiving and Christmas. I remember one year having to grab pizzas from a Stinker station because nothing was open. Have things changed? What is open on Christmas Day around the Treasure Valley? Let's get to it!

Let's start out by hitting you with the obvious players.

Denny's and IHOP: Both are open 24 hours with IHOP delivering free meals by signing up for the Pancake Revolution program. Check out Denny's holiday menu HERE.

Starbuck's: Looking for a bagel, coffee or croissant while heading to moms? These guys will be open until 6 p.m.

McDonald's: Closed (if you were wondering.)

Golden Corral: Open but closing hours may vary.

Buffalo Wild Wings: There is nothing wrong with changing things up! Looking for Wings and games? These guys are open but call ahead to get local hours.

Old Country Buffet: One of the best buffets in the Treasure Valley! Doors open at 11 a.m. just in time for lunch and close down at 6 p.m.

Ruth's Chris Steak House: Open from noon until 9 p.m. with a full menu. Check HERE for the Kissclusive deats.

Cracker Barrel: This is a shocker! I thought they would be open on December 25 and was wrong. That said, you can call ahead to pick up a meal for Christmas. Click HERE for details.
