If you're spending an obscene amount of money on tissues right now, don't worry.

You're not the only one.

On September first, the pollen count in Boise was at a rating of 102. That's considered "high" by the Boise Valley Asthma & Allergy Clinic.

Yesterday's pollen count was at 507, considered "extremely high." Anything over 150 is considered extremely high, so 507 is allergy city. On this day last year, the pollen count was still extremely high, but about half of what it was yesterday.

So when you're walking through the office and see Carrie in accounting sniffling, don't ask if she's sick. Just say "....pollen? Pollen."
